OSU Student Government Offering Safety App

Ohio State University student government leaders say a smartphone app is being offered to students that would call police in case of an emergency. The Lifeline Response Enterprise app also has a GPS feature officers may use to track a student's location. The app was developed in response to robberies, rapes and other crimes committed on or near campus.
