CCS Committee Recommends 18 School Buildings Be Repaired Or Replaced

Columbus voters could soon be asked to fund an overhaul of the city's school buildings. A hand-picked Columbus City Schools panel voted yesterday to recommend renovating or rebuilding 18 school buildings at a cost of 365 million-dollars. More than 10 thousand students would be affected. The district has yet to decide whether a bond issue to fund building renovation and construction will be on the November ballot.
