Online Petition Seeks To Quarantine Heroin Addicts

An online petition is calling on Ohio to quarantine heroin addicts. Nearly 6 thousand people have signed the petition at change.org urging Governor John Kasich declare a state of emergency, calling the state's heroin overdose epidemic a public health crisis. Supporters say the declaration would make grants available to set up so-called "recovery camps" where addicts would receive three months of mandatory treatment.
