Suspect In 2013 Gang-Related Shooting Sentenced

The second of two people accused of killing a teen in a South Linden alley in 2013 was convicted and sentenced to 17 years in prison this week. Shyquan Washington pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the death of 15-year-old Kaewaun Coleman. Police say Washington and 15-year-old Jesean Callender got into a gang-related argument with the victim.  Prosecutors say Callender shot Coleman after Washington handed him a gun. Callender is serving a life prison sentence.
