A Franklin County judge has sentenced a teen to life in prison for killing a rival gang member in January of last year. 17-year-old Jesean Callender shot and killed 15-year-old Kaewaun Coleman in an alley behind Linden-McKinley STEM Academy during a fight. Prosecutors say Callender threatened Coleman for disrespecting him and his gang. A hearing is scheduled December 1st for another teen defendant, Shyquan Washington, to determine whether he will be tried as an adult.
