Passenger On Plane That Landed At OU Airport Pleads Guilty To Drug Charges

One of the two passengers aboard a plane that made an emergency landing at Ohio University’s airport last March has pleaded guilty to drug charges. Authorities found more than 290 pounds of cocaine on board the plane that had mechanical problems. Sentencing is pending for 45-year-old passenger David Ayotte. The other passenger, 47-year-old Sylvain Desjardins, is also being held on drug charges.
