More Drug Overdoses In Franklin County This Year

The Franklin County coroner says overdose deaths blamed largely on opioids are spiking. The county saw 173 overdose deaths through April, a 66 percent increase over  the same period a year ago.  Most  involved fentanyl. If the trend continues more than 500 county residents could die of overdoses  this year.
