Local Man Charged With Giving Woman HIV

A Columbus man has been indicted for felonious assault for allegedly having sex with a Westerville woman while infected with the HIV virus. Authorities say 39-year-old Thomas Carthan did not tell the woman about his status. He is being held in the Franklin County Jail.
