The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed head coach John Tortorella to a one-year contract extension. Terms were not disclosed. Tortorella was the NHL's Coach of the Year last season. Tortorella was entering the last year of a five-year, 10 million contract he signed with Vancouver in 2013.
