Two state lawmakers are sponsoring separate bills designed to combat bullying. Republican State Representative David Greenspan has introduced his measure in the Ohio House. Democratic State Senator Sandra Williams has introduced her bill in the Ohio Senate. Williams says U.S. Department of Education figures show 22 percent of students between the ages of 12 and 18 have been bullied at school in the past year.

And Williams says Ohio schools are doing little to stop bullying.
