Fired Indian Lake Schools Superintendent Files Wrongful Termination Lawsuit

The Indian Lake Schools superintendent who was fired after being charged with child rape has filed a wrongful termination lawsuit to get his job back. 52-year-old Patrick O'Donnell says a state referee ruled the district should wait to decide his job status until after the criminal case concluded. His wife, 47-year-old Heather O'Donnell, is charged with child endangering for failing to report allegations to police. Both have pleaded not guilty. District officials say the firing was justified.
