Former Leader Of Local School Organization Charged With Misspending Public Money

A former central Ohio school leader has been charged with misspending taxpayers' money.  Franklin County prosecutors say Bart Anderson spent money belonging to the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio on lavish travel, high-end alcohol and other personal expenses. Anderson is expected to plead not guilty on Thursday to charges of dereliction of duty and obstruction of official business that are contained in a plea deal. He resigned in 2013 after an audit found he used the agency credit card to charge 96 thousand dollars worth of unapproved travel.
