Two Local Students Arrested For Threatening School Shootings

Licking County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a 14-year-old Lakewood High School student for making a school-related threat. Deputies say a student who responded to a district safety survey wrote of an intention to sneak a gun into the school and shoot another student. The unnamed student is charged with aggravated menacing. And Mechanicsburg police have arrested a middle school student for threatening a school shooting last week. District officials say no students were at risk because the threat was determined to be not credible.
