SUPCO Rejects Heavey's Bid To Return To Gubernatorial Ballot

The Ohio Supreme Court has ruled against a disqualified Democratic gubernatorial candidate seeking to get back on the ballot. 

The court says Jon Heavey failed to prove enough of his petition signatures had been improperly dismissed. Heavey was a last-minute entrant into the race.  Republican Justice Pat DeWine, son of GOP gubernatorial candidate Mike DeWine, recused himself from the case.
