Police ID Franklinton Man Killed By SWAT Officers

Columbus police have identified the Franklinton man killed by SWAT officers on Sunday after he allegedly made a "threatening gesture" with a handgun during a stand-off.

Police say they responded to the West State Street home on reports of a man firing shots into the ground. 30-year-old Corey Cordova was killed after a 90-minute stand-off. It was the seventh officer-involved shooting in Columbus this year.
