Central Ohio Republican Congressman Steve Stivers says he will not seek a second term as chair of the National Republican Congressional Committee.
Stivers won a fifth term in office on Tuesday. Stivers was not successful heading the campaign arm for House Republicans, as Democrats were able to take control of the chamber. Stivers say he plans to go back to working on policy and helping improve the lives of constituents.
