Five Cincinnati City Council Members Admit Secret Text Exchange Broke The law

Five Cincinnati City Council members have settled a lawsuit claiming they broke the law by exchanging secret texts about city business. 

The city will pay 101 thousand dollars to settle the lawsuit brought by a citizen. The council members discussed public business and then-City Manager Harry Black. The settlement also says Council member Wendell Young admits to destroying records.  The settlement also requires council members to release the texts and related emails.
