Teens Charged In New Carlisle Stabbings Enter Denial Pleas

Denial pleas have been entered in Clark County juvenile court for two teen girls accused of engaging in a plot leading to the fatal stabbing of one teen's mother early Thursday.

The girls, ages 13 and 15, face  murder and felonious assault charges in an attack at the 13-year-old's New Carlisle home. Sheriff's deputies say the 15-year-old killed her friend's mother, 36-year-old Lee Ann Moore, and wounded her father, 56-year-old Paul Greear, and 17-year-old brother. Authorities say the teens conspired when the 13-year-old's parents told her she could no longer meet with the friend. Prosecutors say it's too early to decide whether to charge the 15-year-old as adult. The 13-year-old is too young to face adult charges. The girls are due back in court on Wednesday.
