Central Ohio's Unemployment Rate Rose In May

The state says central Ohio’s unemployment rate for May is 3 percent, up three-tenths of a point from April.

The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services says the rate for Columbus and Franklin County is 3 percent. Delaware and Union counties had the lowest rates at 2.6 percent. The figures indicate job growth is slowing and employers are struggling to fill positions.
