Regional Jobless Rate Hits Two-Decade Low

Unemployment in central Ohio is at a low not seen since the 1990s.

The Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services says the region's jobless rate is 2.7 percent for April, down seven-tenths of a point from March. The last time the jobless rate was this low was in December of 1999.  All 88 Ohio counties had lower rates last  month.  The statewide rate for April is 4.3 percent.
