Online retailer Amazon says it will open new distribution centers in Akron and Rossford, near Toledo.

A combined 25 hundred full-time jobs are expected to be created. Akron Mayor Dan Horrigan says the facility in his city will be built on the site of a former shopping mall.

It's not clear when the facilities will open. Amazon has five other distribution centers in the state.
