Amazon Cleared In Case Of Ohio Teen Who Died From Powdered Caffeine Overdose

Keystone High School

A state appeals court has cleared online retailer Amazon of wrongdoing in the death of an Ohio teen.

The court upheld a lower court's decision to remove Amazon from a lawsuit filed by the parents of Logan Stiner of LaGrange, who died in 2014 from a caffeine overdose caused by a supplement purchased through Amazon.  The courts found the company did not directly sell the product.
