A Groveport man has been sentenced to 13 years in prison in the 2018 fatal shooting of his wife.
Sean Newman pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in the death of 30-year-old Ashley Newman as part of a plea deal. No word on a motive. Prosecutors say Newman attempted to take his own life after the shooting. Newman has claimed the shooting was accidental.
