Smart Columbus Halts Linden Shuttle Test

Smart Columbus

Smart Columbus has halted a test of self-driving shuttles in Linden as official investigate why one unexpectedly stopped Thursday, causing a woman to fall from her seat.

The woman sought medical attention. Last year the city signed a 1.1 million contract with shuttle maker EasyMile for the service that began running in February. The union representing Central Ohio Transit Authority drivers asked for an independent investigation.
