3 Charged With Aiming Laser Pointers At OHP Aircraft

Three Columbus men are facing felony charges after being accused of aiming laser pointers at Ohio Highway Patrol aircraft. 

31-year-old Brynt Gunn allegedly aimed a laser into the cockpit of an OHP helicopter while in his vehicle near I-71 and East Hudson Street June 2nd.  His preliminary hearing is set for June 17.

Early June 3rd  police say 31-year-old Gregory Dunwoody admitted to pointing a laser at an aircraft.  His  hearing is set for June 18.

Several hours later, 23-year-old Samuel Harvey allegdly directed a laser pointer at an aircraft flying over police brutality protestors in the OSU campus area. His preliminary hearing is set for June. 12.
