State Allowing County Fairs To Reopen

Ohio Department of Health

Interim Ohio Department of Health Director Lance Himes has signed an order allowing county fairs and animal exhibitions to re-open from COVID-19 closures with strict safety standards in place.

Organizers are asked to discourage large gatherings and try to provide paths to keep foot traffic to one-way in buildings and other areas.  For animal competitions, judges will be required to wear masks, and auctions should be held virtually whenever possible.
