OHSAA Trying To Quell Rumors Fall Sports Could Be Moved To Spring

The Ohio High School Athletic Association is proceeding as if the fall contact sports season will occur as planned amid the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted acknowledged the lack of guidance and emphasized the importance of young athletes to follow current guidelines:

Official practices will tentatively begin on August 1st. The association sent out a memo to answer questions over recent rumors fall sports could be switched to next spring.
