The U.S. Secret Service says the man shot and wounded outside the White House on Monday is a former Ohio resident now living in Maryland.
51-year-old Myron Berryman was shot and wounded after telling an agent he was armed and intended to use the weapon. Berryman assumed a shooting stance before being shot. He's hospitalized in stable condition. Records show Berryman lived in the Dayton area in 2006.
