Former U.S. Ambassador, Congressman Wins Dayton Peace Prize

Former U.S. Ambassador and Congressman Tony Hallis the winner of the 2020 Dayton Peace Prize.

A native of Dayton, Hall also represented Ohio's Third Congressional District and was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize three times while serving as an Ambassador to the United Nations. The Dayton Peace Accords Anniversary Committee recognized Hall on the 25th anniversary of the negotiations at Wright-Patterson Air Force base that helped end the Bosnian War. Other winners include former President Bill Clinton and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
