Organizers say former President Bill Clinton will deliver the keynote speech on November 19th during ceremonies commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Accords, an international agreement that was finalized at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base on November 21, 1995 that ended the Bosnian war. The city will honor the longtime diplomat who brokered the deal by dedicating a plaza in memory of Richard Holbrooke on November 18. Clinton will speak at the Dayton Peace Accords at 20 Conference on the University of Dayton's River Campus the next day. The Bosnia and Herzegovina foreign affairs minister and the U.S. ambassador to the region are among other officials scheduled to participate in the commemorative events, which conclude November 21.
