Time is running out for people whose dogs got spooked and ran away during Fourth of July fireworks displays. Franklin County Dog Shelter officials say the three-day hold on animals collected on Friday is over and they can be prepared for adoption. More than 130 dogs are in the shelter after being frightened by fireworks. Another 40 have been recovered by their owners.
