Franklin County Continues To Get Failing Grades For Air Quality

The American Lung Association's annual air-quality report gives Ohio good and bad rankings. The "State of The Air" report gives Franklin County an 'F' grade for smog pollution. The report ranks Cleveland as ninth-worst in the nation for year-round soot pollution. Cincinnati is tied for 20th. Columbus is listed as one of the nation's cleanest cities for short-term soot pollution. The report uses U.S. EPA data to track smog and soot pollution in 220 metropolitan areas.
