CPD Panel Says Cops Justified In Killing Armed Suspect Last Year

Columbus Division of Police

The Columbus Police Firearms Review Board says five officers who shot and killed a black man last year were justified in their actions. Police say 23-year-old Marese Collins was armed and refused to obey the officers orders to drop his gun. The officers responded to a report of a man threatening people with a gun.
