A local LGBTQ-rights group is attempting to answer criticism about its lack of diversity. Stonewall Columbus yesterday unveiled plans to build a community center at Fourth and High streets and invited residents to sign a steel beam for the building. Protesters showed up at the event to write profanity-laced and anti-police messages, claiming Stonewall leaders failed to defend four black protesters who were arrested during the Pride Parade earlier this year.
