Local Deputy Placed On Leave Amid Rape Probe

A Franklin County Sheriff's special duty deputy has been placed on leave amid a rape investigation.  Authorities say the deputy was working at a Grove City store recently when he convinced a woman to come to his home, where he allegedly assaulted her.  Officials say the unnamed deputy has on his record several reprimands for violating departmental policies.
