Five Locals Indicted For Human Trafficking

Columbus Division of Police

A Franklin County grand jury has indicted five people on federal charges of luring women into prostitution.

Prosecutors say 59-year-old Curtis Gossett led a human trafficking organization that recruited homeless female heroin addicts. He offered them shelter and drugs and then forced them into prostitution, advertising those services online. The other suspects are 44-year-old Stacy Rockney, 28-year-old Christina Austin, 37-year-old Jeffery Bagley, and 26-year-old Brooke Adkins.
