State Agents To Be Trained To ID Human Trafficking Victims

Ohio Public Radio

The state plans to train the undercover agents who investigate liquor, tobacco and food stamp violations to identify and help victims of human trafficking. The agents will be trained to identify and support potential victims they encounter through regular law enforcement work.  The Ohio Department of Public Safety oversees the investigators. The state is now fourth in the nation for human trafficking cases.
