Columbus City Council last night approved the city's 1 billion dollar Capital Improvements budget for the year. The money, mostly from voter-approved bond sales, will fund various infrastructure projects, a new police gunfire detection system, and a new Linden Community Center and park. Council without comment also tabled indefinitely proposed new regulations governing hookah lounges. The delay allows more time to review the proposal.
