Columbus Division of Police

Columbus police say five people, including three children, were injured in a shooting in the 100 block of Brickel Street in Italian Village Monday.

Police say an SUV fleeing the shooting then crashed into a pole and overturned.

An adult was treated at the scene. Two child passengers are hospitalized in critical but stable condition.  A third child was injured in the crash.  A female bystander was injured by the SUV.

23-year-old Nyquan Hall is one of two suspects taken into custody. An investigation continues.
