Former Sandusky County Sheriff Kyle Overmyer has been sentenced to four years in prison for stealing prescription drugs and misusing office funds.

A judge also ordered Overmyer to pay 25 thousand dollars restitution.   Overmyer pleaded guilty in November after losing his re-election bid. He previously said the allegations made by police chiefs in the county were politically motivated.
