Granville Declares Itself A Welcoming Community

The Granville village council last night approved a resolution declaring the village a “welcoming community.” Council members say the resolution does not mean they are trying to make the village a sanctuary city. It says the village is a place where residents and visitors can feel welcome, safe, and able to fully participate in and contribute positively to the community’s social and economic life.
