Republican U.S. Senator Rob Portman of Ohio wants to see the ethics process against Democratic Senator Al Franken and Michigan Democratic Congressman Jonn Conyers expedited.
Portman also told NBC on Sunday the process needs to be transparent.

Congressional panels are expected to look into sexual misconduct allegations against the lawmakers, including settlement payments to Conyers' alleged victims. Portman did not say whether he would support seating Alabama Republican Roy Moore if he wins a Senate seat. Moore is facing multiple claims of sexual misconduct involving teen girls.
