Franklin County health officials are taking measures to stop a possible outbreak of Legionnaires Disease at the county Job and Family Services office on the north side.

Doctors diagnosed two employees at the Northland Opportunity Center on Northland Park Avenue with the disease.  The county is closing the building's water fountains and testing the facility for the bacteria.  The building itself will remain open to the public.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
