Dr. Darryl B. Hood, a nationally recognized environmental public health neurotoxicologist and environmental justice expert at The Ohio State University, will lead a discussion titled, “Perspectives on the Urban Tree Canopy in Underserved Communities in Columbus,” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14 at the Columbus Park of Roses shelter house.
Columbus City Council member Nancy Day-Achauer will provide opening remarks. Additional panelists will include The Ohio State University’s Dr. Kelsea Best, Dr. Daniel Gingerich and Karima Samadi.
