The Ohio Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting tonight to
show what two artists have created to display on the Long Street Cultural
Wall. The wall is part of the ongoing I-71/670 reconstruction called the
Columbus Crossroads Project. The two artists named as finalists to design a
240-foot wall on a new Long Street bridge over I-71 will present their ideas
at 6 p.m. at the King Arts Complex on Mount Vernon Avenue. Kojo Kamau and
Larry Collins say the wall will honor the history and culture of Columbus' Near East Side.
