Federal grants to help homeless vets find jobs

The Labor Department is awarding more than 15-million dollars in grants to train 86-hundred homeless veterans for jobs. The department is awarding a total of 600-thousand dollars to the Goodwill Industries Rehabilitation Center in Cincinnati and the United Methodist Community Center in Youngstown for job training. Labor Secretary Hilda Solis says the funding will also help
homeless vets get treatment for substance abuse or mental health problems so they can get a job.
