Shelby Police say a man who shot himself Sunday while waving a gun he was showing to relatives died Monday at a Columbus hospital. Police say 36-year-old Jeremy Ammons of Marengo was showing relatives the gun he kept with his concealed carry permit. Police says Ammons removed the magazine and cleared a round from the chamber but accidentally loaded another round before the gun discharged as he waved it.
