A Columbus Police helicopter made an emergency landing in a West side
neighborhood early this morning because of mechanical problems. Two officers onboard are being examined at a local hospital as a precaution. The copter landed near Sullivant and Wrexham avenues. A portion of Sullivant was closed this morning to allow police officials to remove the aircraft later today.
