Region Under An Air Quality Alert

The Mid Ohio Regional Planning Commission has issued an air quality alert for today. The agency says the hot weather and pollutants from industry and vehicles will combine to create unhealthy levels of smog in the air. The agency urges children, the elderly and those with breathing difficulties to monitor and limit their outdoor activities. This is the 19th alert of the year, compared with 12 in each of the previous two years.
