The first five games of the Columbus Blue Jackets' season have been scrapped because of the National Hockey League lockout. League officials canceled the first two weeks of the season yesterday, including the Jackets' scheduled home opener against Vancouver. Three road games and a late-October home game with Detroit were also wiped out. The Players Association is unwilling to accept a pay cut. Owners says the player's current 57 percent share of revenues is too large. League revenues have risen to 3.3 billion dollars over the past seven seasons.
